How it works
Age is calculated by counting birthdays reached, followed by the remaining months and days. For someone born on February 29, February 28 is used as the birthday in non-leap years. This is the tool’s convention, not a legal determination.
Born September 11, 2000 → 25 years old on September 10, 2026.
Why not divide the number of days by 365?
Leap years have 366 days, and the birthday may not have happened yet. Counting birthdays avoids this approximation.
